No, rents do not include bills. Services are live and ready at move-in if you prefer to take them over yourself. Alternatively, add our optional all-inclusive package: gas, electricity, water, sewerage and superfast internet for one fixed weekly amount, £66 per week for a single occupant, £76 for two sharers or £82 for three sharers, fixed for the full term. A TV licence add-on is available at £3.48 per week. Full-time students do not pay Council Tax where the whole property qualifies.
No. Out of respect for our current tenants' privacy we do not carry out viewings of occupied flats. Instead, every flat has its own page with photos, a floorplan and a video walkthrough, which are an accurate and true representation of what you will find on your move-in date.
Complete our online application form. It works from any device, anywhere in the world. If you have questions first, email us at [email protected] and we will guide you through the process.
Apartments are let on a fixed-term Common Law Tenancy. New tenancies for 2026-27 run 50 weeks and 3 days, from 28 August 2026 to 15 August 2027. Renewing tenants stay on a full 52-week term, so there is no need to move out over the summer.
The deposit is three weeks' rent, due about 60 days before move-in. It is protected in the government-approved Deposit Protection Service (DPS) custodial scheme and returned to you at the end of the tenancy, provided the apartment is in good condition.
A UK-based guarantor is required unless the year's rent is paid annually in advance, which is the usual route for international students, and it comes with a 5% discount on the rent. Guarantors complete a short online guarantor form.
Yes. Pay the full year's rent in advance and you receive a 5% discount, and no UK guarantor is needed. Otherwise rent is paid termly, at the end of September, January and April, with a UK-based guarantor in place.
Yes, and we have done for years. Many of our tenants are international students at Bournemouth University and the Arts University Bournemouth. The whole process works remotely: choose your flat from photos, floorplans and video walkthroughs, apply online, and sign your tenancy electronically. See our international students guide for details on renting in the UK for the first time.
Us, directly. We manage all apartments ourselves. Email [email protected] and we will arrange a fix.
The tenancy is a fixed-term agreement for the full term, so you are committed for the year. If your circumstances change, talk to us as early as possible and we will discuss the options with you.
Yes, and most of our tenants do. Renewals run on a full 52-week term so you keep your flat over the summer, and many tenants stay for the full duration of their studies.
